Driver who stopped on Bellmore Roadway had ‘ghost gun’: Nassau Police

BELLMORE, NY – Police charged a Uniondale man with weapons possession at 9:15 p.m. Friday in Bellmore.

Officers responded to a driver at 1500 Newbridge Road who had stopped in the middle of the road and appeared to be in poor health, police said.

Officials reported finding a black 9mm ghost gun at Prathamjyot Nahal.

Nahal, 24, was taken into custody without incident and taken to a local hospital for examination.

Nahal is charged with fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of a weapon, police said. His arraignment was scheduled for Saturday in First District Court at 99 Main St. in Hempstead.
