Struggling Everton host Bournemouth at Goodison Park on Saturday and hope to head into the international break with some momentum.
WATCH EVERTON VS BOURNEMOUTH LIVE
After a 3-0 home defeat to Brighton and a 4-0 defeat at Tottenham to open the season, all is not well at Everton. Add to that the fact that Sean Dyche has spoken openly about the club's financial limitations in signing new players and fans have publicly vented their anger at the players, it has not been a pleasant start to the new season.
Bournemouth have drawn their first two games and were furious to have a late winner against Newcastle disallowed by VAR for handball last weekend. Andoni Iraola's side continue to be tough opponents and have made some good signings this summer, including Evanilson in attack and Kepa in goal.

Focus on Everton, team news
James Tarkowski should be fit enough to return for Everton, which would be a big help. Dyche is urging calm, but Everton fans are worried that their final season at Goodison Park could see them once again face a relegation battle. The main problem in their home defeat to Brighton was that they missed good chances at key moments in the game and were punished for it at the other end. That happened a lot last season too.
OUT: Jarrad Branthwaite (groin), Nathan Patterson (thigh), Youssef Chermiti (ankle), Dele Alli (groin)
Bournemouth in focus, team news
The Cherries have started the season solidly and some new signings are still finding their feet, but they have a good understanding of what Iraola wants and the pressure is unsettling for opponents. Evanilson has the potential to be a key player for Bournemouth, while Kepa brings quality and experience in goal. Antoine Semenyo remains a major threat in attack.
OUT: Enes Unal (ankle), Tyler Adams (back), David Brooks (shoulder) | QUESTIONABLE: Philip Billing (back)
Prediction for Everton vs Bournemouth
It feels like a game in which Everton will miss some chances and be surprised by Bournemouth on the counterattack. Everton – Bournemouth 0:2.
