Streaming services have been struggling lately. What was initially a new entertainment medium that a whole host of production houses invested heavily in has turned out to be a short-term money-making ploy and not something that production houses want to sustain in the long term.
This has not only led to a decline in home media sales, but has effectively eliminated an entire source of revenue for films, leading many studios to wonder whether it is even worth working with streaming anymore.

Fans are not impressed with Netflix's attempt to implement a concept that has already been implemented by a rival service, and are decrying the service's creative bankruptcy.
