Burger lovers, rejoice! A restaurant chain that has several regional “Best Burger” titles brings its award-winning food to new parts of the country.
Killer Burger – known for its 100% natural beef burgers and local craft beers –announced an exciting new expansion deal on August 27. Local franchisee Cascade Dining (led by Dave Edwards) plans to open six new Killer Burger locations in the South Puget Sound region over the next five years.
Killer Burger currently has 23 restaurants in the Pacific Northwest. The planned new locations will significantly expand Killer Burger's presence. Tacoma, Puyallup and Olympia, Washington, are among the markets where the planned new stores will open.
This is Killer Burger's second six-store development deal with Cascade Dining. As part of the chain's first agreement with the franchisee (announced in February 2023), Cascade is opening three restaurants in Salem and Bend, Oregon, and another three in Boise, Idaho, over the next few years. According to a press release, Cascade's first location in Salem opened its doors to customers in April of last year.
“We are excited to expand our partnership with Dave Edwards and his team and open six more Killer Burger locations in the coming years,” Killer Burger CEO John Dikos said in a statement. “Dave and his team are committed to operational excellence and ensuring we deliver the ultimate burger experience we promise each and every customer, and their renewed commitment to our brand demonstrates the value we can offer franchisees. As we continue to grow our concept, we remain focused on expanding into new markets and filling empty spaces in the markets we currently serve with incredible franchisees like Dave.”
Burger fans near Seattle should also keep an eye out for killer burger restaurant openings in their area. When the chain announced its first development deal with Cascade Dining in early 2024, it also revealed another agreement that will bring three killer burger restaurants to the city over the next few years.
