WEST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) – Police have arrested two people on sexual assault charges in connection with an incident involving a child.
In April 2024, the West Haven Criminal Investigation Department's Special Victims Unit received information from the Department of Children and Families regarding allegations in a sexual abuse case involving Elizabeth Jordan of West Haven.
According to police, Jordan was accused of having sexual intercourse with a minor and recording the sexual contact.
It was also alleged that Jordan subsequently shared this video with her colleague Josh Bailey from Milford.
According to police, Jordan Bailey also sent pictures to another minor for his sexual gratification.
The West Haven Police Department's Special Victims Unit conducted a comprehensive and thorough investigation into the allegations made by the Department of Children and Families against Jordan and Bailey. This investigation resulted in the arrest of both parties.
On August 29, Jordan turned himself in to West Haven Police on an outstanding warrant and was charged with second-degree sexual assault, conspiracy to commit second-degree sexual assault, two counts of voyeurism, distribution of voyeuristic material, endangerment of minors, and unauthorized distribution of an intimate image.
Bailey was taken into custody in Milford for an unrelated incident. He was then transported to the West Haven Police Department on an outstanding warrant to face charges of second-degree sexual assault, second-degree conspiracy, voyeurism, conspiracy to commit voyeurism, endangering a minor, and conspiracy to endanger a minor.
Both parties were charged and held on bail pending their arraignment in Milford Superior Court.
