Bluffton police are investigating a fatal crash on August 27 involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
Bluffton police said Wednesday, August 28, that they are currently investigating a fatal collision between a motorcycle and an SUV.
The accident occurred on Tuesday, August 27, at around 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 170 and Lawton Blvd.
“The driver and passenger of the SUV were uninjured in the collision,” a Bluffton police spokesman said in a press release.
According to police, 23-year-old Noah Smith of Hardeeville suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bluffton police said their accident reconstruction team was dispatched to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation.
“Team members are currently working to determine the cause of the collision and possible contributing factors,” the police department spokesman said.
