Brazilian Olympic gymnast Flavia Saraiva has caused a stir online after a Tinder account belonging to her appeared on social media, according to The Sun.
The 24-year-old athlete, who won the bronze medal in the team event at the 2024 Paris Olympics despite a black eye, reportedly wrote a profile in Portuguese on the dating app.
It says that she is not looking for “anything serious, but it depends,” as the source translated, who posted a screenshot of a Tinder profile.
Saraiva is described as an “artistic gymnast and Olympic and World Championship medalist.”
It also says “tanned” and “a good person”.
Many people on social media were excited about the discovery.
“Flavia Saraiva shows that she is just like us,” one person is said to have said.
Saraiva's alleged dating profile surfaced after she made headlines at the Paris Games – where she helped the Brazilian team to a third-place finish in the women's artistic gymnastics team all-around despite an injury.
Saraiva suffered a cut above her eye in a fall on the uneven bars while warming up for the final, but still competed with a black eye and a bandage over her eyebrow.
On the uneven bars she achieved a strong 13,666 points.
