A Grade II listed viaduct in Cheshire has been cordoned off after Harry Styles fans carved their names into the bricks. It is believed the pop star had his first kiss on the Twemlow Viaduct.
Located near the singer's home village of Holmes Chapel, the viaduct has become a must-see for fans. However, Network Rail, which owns the site, says the 183-year-old viaduct has been damaged and has been cordoned off for protection.
Now, blackboards on the fence offer fans an alternative place to leave their names and messages. Holmes Chapel Partnership, which takes fans to the site as part of its popular Harry's Home Village Tour, said the location was a “mecca” for Styles fans.

Harry wrote his name on the viaduct wall in One Direction's biopic This is Us. Since then, fans from all over the world have flocked to see the Victorian structure, which carries trains from Manchester to Crewe via Holmes Chapel on the West Coast Main Line.
Peter Whiers, chair of the partnership, said: “We are delighted that Network Rail recognises the mecca that Twemlow Viaduct has become and is installing this blank canvas for Harry Styles fans to express themselves creatively during their visits. This new wall is an important next step in both protecting the heritage of Twemlow Viaduct and further raising the profile of Holmes Chapel on the Cheshire tourist map.”
“We are excited to see how fans respond and make the wall their own in the coming weeks, while ensuring the viaduct remains a treasured landmark for generations to come.”
