NFL spokesman provides new update on Chiefs WR Rashee Rice's status following offseason arrests

An NFL spokesman just gave a new update on Rashee RiceStatus before the start of the regular season. Brian McCarthy said in a recent conference call that the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver is not expected to be placed on the Commissioner Exempt List despite his arrest in April.

Rapoport also mentioned that Rice will still be eligible to play at the start of the season because the legal situation is still pending.
