Three games, four points: Schalke only in the middle of the 2nd division

Gelsenkirchen, a city deep in the heart of the Ruhr region, is home to FC Schalke 04. The club has won the German championship seven times and the 2nd Bundesliga championship three times. There are also five wins in the DFB Cup and a triumph in the German Supercup. At the international level, the Knappen have secured the coveted UEFA Cup once and the UI Cup twice.

Bundesliga relegated Cologne: Like Schalke only with four points

The 1. Fußball-Club Köln 01/07, better known as 1. FC Köln, is more than just a football club; it is a symbol for the city of Cologne and its passionate football fans. The club was founded on February 13, 1948. The club plays its home games in the RheinEnergieStadion, which is located in Cologne and has a capacity of 50,000 seats.
