A similar video from the Ukraine war is currently causing controversy. The footage is said to show a suspected American attack on a Russian sniper. The shocking footage was published by the X-platform “Clash Report”. The video, which is only 26 seconds long, first shows a Russian sniper wearing camouflage clothing lying in a field. Shortly afterwards, the camera zooms out. What follows is a drone that appears to be falling directly onto the man in the grass. When the drone finally hits the ground, there is a huge explosion. The sniper, who had previously been lying in wait, appears to be dead.

Internet users think video is fake – Did Ukraine fake the Russian's death?
The shocking video footage is already being hotly debated online. While some users are calling for peace, other observers believe that the sniper was already dead when the attack took place.
- “Crazy, we should stop fighting and make peace…”, wishes this user.
- “He was already dead. He didn't move his legs after the first or second drone strike. Also, he was in an open field in a somewhat inappropriate camouflage suit and there is a long trail as if a corpse had been dragged behind him. Although it is macabre, I believe this was a dummy with a dead (captured?) body,” another observer considers the video to be fake.
- “Great! Another Russian terrorist eliminated,” this net user rejoiced over the supposed Ukraine success.
