In October 2019, he met 35-year-old Kristine Melton in a bar in Cape Coral, Florida. The woman took him to her home, where he strangled her the next day. “He killed to kill,” prosecutor Andreas Gardiner is convinced, as he said in a press conference after the verdict was announced. During the trial, Wilson's lawyers tried to cast doubt on his culpability. Drugs and brain injuries led to Wilson's terrible murders of the women. But the judge was unmoved. “The evidence shows that the murders were heinous, cruel and brutal,” said presiding judge Nicholas Thompson, according to the New York Post. “The second murder was cold-blooded, calculated and planned,” he is convinced.
