Car overturns on the A94 near Parsdorf – Ebersberg

Two people were injured in a traffic accident on the A94 near Parsdorf on Saturday afternoon – one of them moderately seriously, according to the highway police. At around 12 noon, for reasons that are still unknown, the car veered off to the right into the construction site on the shoulder of the road in the direction of Passau shortly after the Parsdorf junction. According to police, this caused the vehicle to roll over and come to rest on its right-hand side in the embankment. Two passengers, a 37-year-old and a 25-year-old man, who were sitting in the back of the car, were injured. They were taken to nearby hospitals by the emergency services. According to the police, it is unclear whether the passengers were wearing seatbelts.

Traffic was diverted to the Parsdorf junction for about an hour by the fire departments from Anzing and Parsdorf-Hergolding while the accident was being recorded. The Hohenbrunn motorway maintenance department also pointed out that safety measures were in place on site.
