Investigation into deaths on Long Island: Five people found dead in their Syosset home

SYOSSET, Long Island (WABC) — According to officials, five people were found dead in a house on Long Island.

Shortly before noon on Sunday, police arrived at the house on Wyoming Court in Syosset.

When police arrived at the house, they found a man with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. They later discovered the bodies of four people inside the house. It appears to have been a murder-suicide.

The investigation is ongoing.
