Highest reported number of drones – Ukraine drops 158 drones over Russia
The Defense Ministry in Moscow reports that 158 Ukrainian drones were intercepted overnight across 15 different Russian regions. The number cannot be independently verified, but it is the highest number reported for a Ukrainian drone attack to date. Russian troops invaded Ukraine two and a half years ago on the orders of President Vladimir Putin. With its long-range weapons, Russia has also largely destroyed numerous power plants. Ukraine does not have such weapons. But they are fighting back with large numbers of drones that attack Russian industrial facilities.
