Formula 1 is making its second stop after the summer break for the Italian Grand Prix. We'll show you how you can watch the race in Monza for free on TV and live stream.
- The 16th race of the F1 season will take place in Italy on Sunday afternoon.
- The starting signal is at 3:00 p.m. at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza.
- You can watch it on free TV on RTL, SRF and ORF or on pay TV on Sky and WOW.
In Formula 1, the race is moving from the north to the southern part of Europe. To be more precise, the 20 drivers are battling for victory in Monza today. The Italian Grand Prix is part of the calendar's standard program and features one of the most legendary race tracks of the year. You can watch the start from 3:00 p.m. on various channels.
It is not without reason that many people call the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza a temple of high speed. There are several long straights and basically only one slow section after the start and finish. The final corner, called Parabolica, is particularly well-known, after which the drivers reach speeds of over 340 kilometers per hour on the long straights.
Due to these characteristics of the track, tire management is also a major issue. The newly asphalted track, which has also been fitted with new curbs, also contributes to this. Some drivers were very unhappy about the latter. Thousands of Tifosi on the side of the track ensure the right atmosphere.
The race will be shown again on RTL as one of seven weekends. You can also watch the Formula 1 on Sunday afternoon on pay TV on Sky Sport F1 and in Austria for free in the live stream from ORF. There are other free reception options via SRF and RTBF Auvio.

You can receive a corresponding live stream via the in-house service RTL+. This costs you 6.99 euros per month. But there are also free options for receiving the live stream from RTL.
