Nudist world traveller Marc Engelhardt on international trends

Nudism is trendy, but at the same time nudism has a tradition in many cultures. In his book “I’m going to be naked”, author Marc Engelhardt traces naturism around the world

Mr. Engelhardt, you have been invited to various exhibitions for your book “I’m naked now”. Nudism-Societies all over the world. How did this come about?
I actually just went swimming – and didn't have any swimming trunks with me. It was in a forest lake in Mecklenburg, on a summer day like today, and I jumped into the water naked. It felt good and I remembered doing the same thing as a child on the Baltic Sea. I noticed that we Germans have this special relationship with being naked. My journalistic curiosity got the better of me and I asked myself what it was like in other countries.
