BMW Championship prize money and purse: How much did Keegan Bradley earn for winning the FedEx Cup Playoffs event?

Now there are officially only 30 golfers left in the race for the FedEx Cup.

Keegan Bradley, last man in the field this week, claimed a one-shot victory in the BMW Championship at Castle Pines Golf Club in Colorado on Sunday, not only moving him up to fourth place in the FedEx Cup standings but also earning $3.6 million this week as part of a $20 million purse.

The BMW Championship, like last week's event that kicked off the three-tournament playoffs, had a purse of $20 million, just like the rest of the season's events. But even though there were only 50 golfers competing this week, most golfers still went home with six-figure salaries.

Hideki Matsuyama won the FedEx St. Jude Championship last week to kick off the playoffs, earning $3.6 million. It was Matsuyama's second victory on Tour this season, following his victory at the Genesis Invitational in February, where he won $4 million. Matsuyama withdrew from this week's tournament due to a back injury, but is certain to qualify for the Tour Championship.

Despite finishing in the bottom half of the leaderboard this week with a stroke average of 1 over par, Scottie Scheffler will still enter the Tour Championship as the No. 1 overall player. Scheffler, who has won six times this season, leads the field in the FedEx Cup standings by more than 1,000 points. Xander Schauffele, who won both the PGA Championship and the British Open this year, is safely in second place.

Here's how much Bradley and the rest of the field earned this week at the BMW Championship.
