The alleged perpetrator also injured himself
According to police, the attack on the 23-year-old occurred on Saturday afternoon in the center of San Francisco, as reported by “Spiegel”. The 17-year-old suspect, who was arrested, is also said to have suffered injuries in the altercation and is being taken to hospital.

A video shared on social media shows Pearsall, shirtless, being carefully led by police to an ambulance. He sits on a stretcher while moving his left hand, which he had previously used to press a shirt against the right side of his bleeding chest. Blood can be seen.
