FORT BRIDGER, Wyoming – Two suspects are in custody and one person is dead after a shooting at a home near Fort Bridger Rendezvous in Wyoming.
According to a Facebook post from the Uinta County Sheriff's Office, officers responded to the shooting at 5:48 p.m. Saturday. When police arrived at the residence, located east of Fort Bridger Rendezvous, they found a person dead.
Police said they arrested two suspects without incident who may be connected to the Wyoming shooting. Officials believe the shooting was an isolated incident and that there was no threat to the Fort Bridger community.
“The Uinta County Sheriff's Office would like to thank all agencies that assisted us,” the Facebook post said. “We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victim who lost his life.”
According to police, an investigation is currently underway according to UCSO and all planned events in the area will continue as planned.
